WORKING EXPERIENCE
- Underwent 4 months of intensive Rural Awareness Work Experience Programme in DEVARAGUNTA village of ELURU district of Andhra Pradesh. The learning process involved interacting with the farmers, studying the rural scenario, cropping pattern & the major constraints in the adoption of latest technology.
- Hands on training in cultivation of crops. I got personal training in cultivation of crops like citrus, chilli, bhendi and brinjal and flower crop like crossandra.
- Gained experience regarding the crop production, protection, marketing and extensional aspects during RAWEP.
- Five months of Experiential Learning Programme (ELP) on Bioinputs: Bio Pesticides and Bio-fertilisers and Dehydration of Fruits and Vegetables in the final semester of degree programme.
- Gained practical experience regarding value added products produced from different fruits and vegetables like jam, jelly, fruit bars, ketchup etc.
- 1 year project work about shelf life studies on minimally processed fresh cut tender jackfruit. I have studied the effect of brine solutions, packaging material and dehydration techniques on tender jackfruit to increase their shel life.
TRANINGS
- Participated in two days training programme on “value addition in Jackfruit”
- Participated in one day workshop on “Development of soft skills for entrepreneurship among Agri Graduates.”
